I need to come up with an idea for an online service. Nothing real just demos for my e-commerce class. I went w/ ordering last minute gift baskets online for that person that's hard to shop for. I wanted to do buckets w/ 6 packs of beer for men, mixed drinks for women both w/ snacks, a shirt and flip flops or something. Then I decided that going thru the research and disclaimer info for alcohol sales was more than what I wanted to deal w/ for such a small project so most of my ideas are out the window. Now I have only one basket w/ food and glass coca cola bottles and a Blockbuster popcorn bucket w/ giftcards and candy. Now I'm stuck and I need more than just two products to sell. I'm in a rut so any, even if crazy, ideas would really help me out. Baskets for women isn't too hard but what about men? Thanks in advance, I'd really appreciate any kind of advice!
how about personalized items like shirts/cups/beer mugs/wine bottle holders/ door mats!! why not!

We are having a baby pageant at our church. The winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to toys r us, a crown, and a trophy. For the other contestants we would like to give a gift basket and trophy….Can you help me with ideas for the baskets?
Thanks
Also, the contestants are 4 boys ages 6weeks, 11 months, 2 years, and 3 years.
you could make a diaper cake? and put stuff on the diapers like pacifiers, toys…. etc… heres a link that shows you what i'm talking about.

It’s for a very close friend of mine. She just made 21 and I want the stuff to be baby blue, that’s her favorite color. I’m planning to buy this package with different items that you can put on your body and a baby blue teddy bear. Please help me
people can get carried away when they just stick with the favorite color. what's more thoughtful would be putting all her favorite stuff.
sticking to the details you gave, i would automatically suggest blueberry or mint-scented body bath or cream, body scrub, lotion and cologne. there are gift packages that are readily available with the complete set…which should show you what a common gift idea it is. on the other hand, women can be quite particular about scents so this may be her favorite color but would she actually like the smell enough to use it?
putting her favorite cologne, favorite chocolate, favorite snack, book by a favorite author, album by a favorite singer, a pillow or a bath towel in her favorite color would be more personal.

Okay so my good friend is expecting a baby girl soon , iv decided im gonna make my own gift basket for her, i already bought the essentials to put in like nappies, baby shampoo , dummy etc but i want to make it really original with a personal touch any ideas? Must be able to shop buy iv looked online but quite expensive - on a budget as have a baby myself so only have about £50 to spend.
Thanks x
Ok my aunt is expecting too so i can relate. if i didn't know the sex of the baby i would use soft neutral colors like green or yellow for the blanket http://www.nursery-rooms.co.uk/images/Winnie-the-pooh-nursery/Honey-tree-pooh-embroidered-fleece-small.jpg (sorry i couldn't give you more variety to choose from, this is the only one i found)
and dont forget the teddy bears, range them different in sizes and colours http://www.morethanagiftonline.co.uk/soft_toy_catalogue/teddies.jpg oh and buy diapers and if you want to you can sew or crotche (sp, pronounced cra-shay) a little pillow for him/her to rest on and to cuddle with, and try to make up a little lulllaby then buy one of those recording gift cards and put the lullaby on it, dont forget about the parents too, to help them save money on baby necessity's buy them at least a 20 dollar gift card for a baby store conveniently close to their home so that the mom doesn't have to drive or walk too long to get there. hope this helps and tell them congrats 4 me.

We're having our wedding in Oregon (where I grew and half my family still loves) on the coast. Most of our guest will be traveling from Ohio and may stay for at least the weekend, some for a whole week. We obviously will not be able to entertain them the entire week but will have get togethers and events the weekend of the wedding.
Instead of a tin of mints or some favor that will be thrown out anyways I'm having the hotel put gift baskets in all the rooms of our guests. I want to include things like bottels of water, sunscreen and a lst of locations to visit and things to do in the area (with directions and contact info). But I'm at a loss on other things to include as well as what to put everything in.
I am on a budget but I dont have too many guests and it will be one basket per couple/family). Any idead would be greatly appriciated.
Also any beach wedding ideas or experiances would be lovely.
Thanks so much!
So many great ideas! Here's list so far:
Bottled water
Sunscreen
Salt water taffy
A mix cd of songs my fiance and I like (or are beach appropriate)
A list of place to visit and things to do in the area (complete with directions, and contact info)
Some info on the tidepools in the area and the creatures that dwell there. (Should be fun for the kids to go out and try and find the animals).
An itenerary of wedding activities throughout the weekend and a welcome note from my fiance and family.
And some sort of kids package, most likely some cheap sand toys. Me and my fiance spent lost of time at the beach building sandcastles with my little cousins, so this will be cute.
Thanks for all the great ideas! Keep them comming!
Squirt guns for the kids
Local candy (salt water taffy maybe?)
Sunblock
local guidebook
a half bottle of wine (for the adults) or local beer from a brewery
pari of cheap sunglasses
Blow up beach ball
Sun hat
Monogram each one with either your and your hubbies initials or the last initial of the guests that are receving the bag.
Put it all in a big tote bag or straw bag…or to make it even cuter have it all in a sand pail like this…
